Eldership @ FPC: As you know from my newsletter, it is time for us to ordain new elders to help with the ministry and oversight of First Presbyterian Church. Elders are a vital part of the way the Presbyterian Church in Canada functions. The PCC acknowledges the importance of the minister, but believes that the Holy Spirit speaks through both the clergy and elders. In this series, I will explain what is expected of an elder, plus speak to the congregation as a whole on what it means to serve God in our multicultural, multifaith society we live in.
